From Our Ally Organization on Women’s Equality Day
National Women’s History Alliance
Home

Dear Friends,
Thank you for joining us to honor Women’s Equality Day. Your presence means so much — together, we celebrated the women who came before us, the progress we’ve made, and the unfinished work that still lies ahead. And we were especially inspired to hear from contemporary speakers who are carrying this work forward today, standing on the shoulders of those who began the fight and reminding us that the struggle for equality is ongoing.
We are deeply grateful for your commitment and your energy. We also heard your hopes and your fears — and want you to know you are not alone. We are in community, moving forward together. We invite you to join our once-a-month conversations, and soon we will be launching our Consciousness-Raising Circles again as a way to stay connected and inspired.
Watch & Revisit
If you missed any part of the program or would like to share it with others, you can watch the full recording (both the 7:00PM ET and 7:00PM PT) HERE.
We shared three powerful videos that bridge past and present:
- Alice Paul (Suffrage & ERA)
- Fannie Lou Hamer (Civil Rights & Voting Rights)
- Hazel Johnson (Environmental Justice)
Each was paired with reflections from contemporary voices who are carrying this work forward today.
